Adult education and learning :
Most people associate education with formal education for kids, teens, and young people. Adults are also recognised as right holders under international human rights law, even though they are primary beneficiaries. As with all human rights, the right to education applies to everyone, regardless of age.
In order for all adults to participate in their societies and the workplace, adult education and learning is an integral part of the right to education and lifelong learning. Adult learning is the entire body of learning processes that people in their society consider to be adults develop and enrich their abilities for living and working, both for their own interest and for the well-being of their communities, organizations, and societies.
